Being blessed with a poet's soul, I've written songs for as long as I could remember. As early as 7 years old, I would re-write the lyrics to the Pepsi commercials I'd seen on TV. In my high school years, I wore my freshly callused finger tips with pride and begged my choir teacher to let me perform my original music at our winter concerts. He obliged (Thanks Mr. Wurtzel) and a young artist was thrust into the world. I am heavily inspired by the great story-tellers of music drawing influences from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Simon and Garfunkel and Carole King, among many others. By marrying gentle melodies and heartfelt, thought provoking lyrics, I craft my music as a love letter to the tender-hearted.
I am a veteran of live gigs; I've traveled from coast to coast playing guitar and singing in musicals, private events, house concerts, cocktail hours, bars, breweries, coffeehouses and more! I've also found great joy in teaching and giving lectures on songwriting to young writers and professionals at Long Island High School for the Arts and within my private teaching studio. In 2021, I was selected as the Featured Artist and headliner for Long Island Stage; a live series that showcased Long Island's best up and coming singer-songwriters and musicians in the post-Covid world. In 2023, I became a verified recording artist and can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and other major streaming platforms.
